Nauticat 42 History & Specifications

Nauticat 42 History

The Nauticat 42 is erected by Cruising Yachts Oy in Finland. The yard is positioned 40 kilometers from the megacity of Turku in Southwest Finland. The company has been erecting yachts over 45 times and moment both administration and product installations are concentrated in Riihikoski. The company has a transnational chain of skillful and educated dealers that takes care of worldwide cruising 42 deals and services.

The story begins in the late 1950s when we moldered our first small fiberglass boats. In 1966 we were asked by some original mariners to make a comfortable 10- cadence hydrofoil with a proper pilothouse. The Nauticat 33 was born and the developer of this yacht was the Finnish mastermind W.Aarnipalo. The general housing form was nothing exceptionally new, it nearly recalled sturdy Nordic designs frequently seen battling their way across a stormy Baltic or bedecked with flowers and good cheer during fests under the night sun. As the fashionability of the Marine 33 soared and the company grew, a demand for larger boats was the natural result.

Formerly again further weight was put on better sailing performance. During the recession in Finland in 1993, the yard and its developer and now managing director Kaj Gustafsson introduced the Marine 39. This yacht embodied the yard’s new gospel. Further sailing area, more-performing shells under passage, and more efficiently shaped vessels and rudders. This yacht came to immediate success and she was in 1995 followed by the Marine 42 which offers the same concept as the 39. The 42 was warmly eaten by broad followership. The 42 is well-acclimated to different surroundings and requirements. The boat incontinently set up happy and proud possessors in Europe, the United States, and Asia.
